2008 Memorial Day Parade - Washington, DC

On May 26, 2008 at the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, DC, the U.S. Army Reserve marked 100 years of service by America's Warrior-Citizens. Lieutenant General Jack.C. Stultz, the parade's Honorary Grand Marshall, was also joined by Command Chief Warrant Officer James Thompson and Command Sergeant Major Leon Caffie. The 307th Army Reserve Band, from Norristown, Pennsylvania, marched and performed in remembrance of their fallen comrades. Participants on the Army Reserve float included Miss America 2008, Kirsten Haglund, and actors Mickey Rooney, Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinise. Army Reserve Staff Sergeant Jason Fetty and Lieutenant General Jack C. Stultz, Chief of the Army Reserve, were interviewed by local Washington, DC television stations at the parade.
