Army Reserve Centennial Commemoration at NASCAR's Chevy Rock & Roll 400 - Richmond, Virginia

The Army Reserve commemorated its 100th anniversary on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at the Richmond International Speedway, which hosted NASCAR's Chevy Rock & Roll 400. Mark Martin, the U.S. Army's NASCAR driver competed on the famed 3/4-mile speedway layout. In attendance was Army Reserve Drill Sergeant of the Year, Sergeant First Class Michael Noland who challenged NASCAR fans to push-up contests in the Army Strength in Action Zone. A total of 50 stories ran online resulting in 1,172,964 media impressions.
