NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series Event - Atlanta, Georgia
On April 25-26, 2008, U.S. Army Top Fuel driver, Tony Schumacher, competed in his 250th race in the famed Summit Racing Equipment Southern Nationals at the Atlanta Dragway. Schumacher, who leads the Top Fuel standings, also helped pay tribute to the U.S. Army Reserve's 100th Anniversary during round six of the National Hot Rod Association POWERade Drag Racing Series. His Top Fuel dragster carried 100th anniversary decals. Tony Schumacher and Major General Rafferty spoke at this NHRA event regarding the 100th Anniversary of the U.S. Army Reserve.
