100th Anniversary Reenlistment Ceremony - Capitol Hill

On April 23, 2008 in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the U.S. Army Reserve, 100 Army Reserve Soldiers from around the country reenlisted in a special ceremony on Capitol Hill, in Washington, DC. The Chief of the United States Army Reserve, Lieutenant General Jack C. Stultz, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by Army Reserve and other military leaders, Members of Congress and the family members of the re-enlisting Soldiers. Miss America 2008 Kirsten Haglund and former Miss America 1985 Sharlene Wells Hawkes were also in attendance. The 100th Anniversary Reenlistment Ceremony generated 167 stories across the country reaching a total audience of 42,966,136.
