Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Walker
Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Walker joined the Army Reserve in the summer of 2004 after completing his service in the Active Army. Walker enjoys the mental and physical challenges inherent in the military operations and training. As an Army Reserve Soldier he has had the opportunity to serve around the world, on four continents, in 11 countries, 47 U.S. States and two U.S. Territories.

From November 2006 until November 2007, Walker was assigned as the Chief of Military Justice (Chief Prosecutor) for Iraq. Being selected for this position was a tremendous honor, as no other Reserve Soldier had ever held this position. As Chief Prosecutor, Walker led prosecution efforts to ensure good order and discipline in the ranks of U.S. deployed forces.

Walker's military career as a Judge Advocate led directly to his civilian career as a senior civil service attorney. He says that the training and experience he gained through the Army and the Army Reserve has made him very marketable. He has worked as the Deputy Chief Counsel with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services in the Department of Homeland Security and most recently, was selected to serve as General Counsel for the National Drug Intelligence Center in the Department of Justice.

Regarding the 100th Anniversary of the Army Reserve, Walker says, "I have served nearly 28 years in the Army, much of it in the Reserve components... To be a part of the history of our country is a great honor. Getting to work with the great Citizen-Soldiers and learn from them is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. To have played a small part in ensuring our nation's strength has been very rewarding and exciting."

Originally from Clayton, New York, Walker currently resides in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
